Pappadeaux's is a great seafood cuisine restaurant. It may have changed over the years, but its consistency with good seafood has not. my favorite item on the menu is to get the crab dip with the toast bread. I always enjoy the different various fish dishes however I would like for them to bring back the king crab legs. The only satisfactory I have is the wait, the wait can sometimes be typically long. However, that's the only complaint I do have but overall the restaurant does really well.

So nostalgic. Reminded me of home. That's the main reason I went, I was missing Houston so much. The bread and butter was just like I remembered it, so were the Alligator bites. Loved them. Entrees were excellent too. Service was top tier and the ambiance was just like home. Can't wait to go back

The food is definitely worth the trip. We had an amazing server Jenn. She was nice and friendly. She was very prompt and not overbearing. I would definitely ask for her the next time I come.

Jen might have been one of the greatest servers I've had in years! She had such a personality and made us feel so welcome! I highly recommend you ask for her, as she is delightful to be served by!

Pappadeaux is always right. Can't go wrong with them! We love Pappadeaux and they've been consistent from Atlanta to Chicago. Same taste!

Finally had the chance to try Pappadeaux. We have been to their sister mexican restaurant in TX and wanted to try the seafood one for a while. Like the Mexican sister - the seafood one did not disappoint at all! I would definitely recommend a reservation here - oddly - there were several open tables in this large restaurant but never fully occupied this past Friday. Only thing I can think of is shortage of staff. The bar area is quite large - and I hear they have a happy hour - so we saw a lot of people eating there. We started with our fruity drinks - of a Large Swamp Thing and a Purple Voodoo. Quite good - not as boozy as one would want - especially given the high price. We started with the Shrimp and Crawfish Fondoo. Delicious - especially with the garlic bread - and extremely filling. We then got the Stuffed Crab and Jumbo Shrimp Brochettes. We loved both of our dishes and I brought half of my crab home to reheat the next day. Our server - Elton - was fabulous. Extremely attentive - extremely friendly. I thought the service staff - including the hostess station and busboys were great. As always - a restaurant that chooses good staff warrants appreciation. I would definitely come again - only thing keeping the 4 stars (instead of 5) is the prices. Pappedeaux is definitely not cheap in terms of food/drinks. Their outside area looks huge and can't wait for the warmer months.

Came here during Mardi Gras day in 3024. We were feeling festive and wore our Mardi Gras mask and beads during dinner. We made reservations 3ppl at 5 PM just to make sure we got a table. This place is a standalone restaurant with its own private parking lot The bar was a pretty long from one end of the room to the other on one side. They also had a fresh Live tank of lobsters, waiting to be served. And the room temperature was comfy and the lighting in the restaurant was a bit dim however, there were spotlights on top of the dining tables, which was a good idea. I did notice some actual lanterns on the pillars that were lit with a flame was cool. Once we got seated we got our drinks Swamp thing drinks with a free Mardi Gras glass And nonalcoholic piña colada, frozen for my mom, which was good. Fresh hot French bread with whipped butter really good. Here is what we ordered: The chef, special fresh oysters, six pieces they were pretty good. We had plenty of sides to put on the oyster and the oysters were pretty big. Ordered shrimp cocktail, which was good. I ordered the Texas redfish good with dirty rice. The white fish was flaky. The season was flavorful. The dirty rice was your typical rice. I wish there was a side of fresh vegetable. Hubby ordered the grilled shrimp with scallops on top of mushroom risotto very good he would get again. Very flavorful, both the scallop and the shrimp tasted smoky and sweet. And was not over cooked. The risotto was cooked perfection. We ordered our mom, the ginger glaze salmon, medium rare on top of white rice and a side of green beans with grilled shrimp, which was good. The only thing was the rice was a bit soupy. And for dessert, we ordered the crème brûlée, which is perfect for the three of us. Our servicer lonnie was very informative in regards to the dishes we ordered, and he was very friendly and attentive. I would love to have him serve us again and again. Overall, this was a great experience during the event it was busy, and the food came out in decent time. I will definitely come back here again for Mardi Gras.

How have I not reviewed my all time favorite restaurant?! The truth is this place is perfect for any meal. Breadsticks, oysters, salmon and crab are the usual suspects when we visit, and we always enjoy a large beer at the bar upon arrival. Great brunch! After visiting Houston, TX it became apparent that I had been missing the full lineup. Their bbq, Pappas Bar-B-Q and Mexican, Papacito options are also great!

Came right at opening with my ladies hiking group. We just finished a 3.8 mile nearby and were really hungry after working up an appetite. The manager accommodated our large group without a reservation. I believe this only happened because we arrived soon after opening before all the reservations kicked in. While at the bar waiting for our table, I tried the Sitting Sideways. The drink was good and strong. I only needed one. Our table of 10, started off with several appetizers: mozzarella bites, Calamri, soft shell crab, gator, and shrimp dip. My favorites were the mozzarella bites and crab. The gator was flavorful but chewy. We also opted for dessert before lunch. As a table we shared peacan sweet potato pie and key lime pie. Both very well done. Key lime was a surprised to my palate. Not usually my choice but it was good and tangy. For lunch, I ordered the catfish (fried) and red beans & rice. I was very surprised by the generous portion. My lunch was delicious. I even had some leftovers. The flavor of my meal was good and spicy. The spice was kinda of a surprise. I liked it but I could see some dishes being too spicy for others. Atmosphere of this restaurant was lovely. Plenty of parking and a beautiful outdoor patio. By the time we were leaving the restaurant was filling up and vibrant.
